Balgowlah North Public School has a highly successful
Public Speaking program catering for all students K-6.
As a result our school has achieved great success over the past few
years at the Northern Beaches Eisteddfods in speech making.
All students learn how to prepare and present a variety of speeches. We
are particularly privileged to have the expertise of Mrs Jenny O'Neill
who works with the students on a voluntary basis. Mrs O'Neill has vast
experience in speech making and debating and is the author of several
books.
Once again this year our students have performed well at the Eisteddfod
being awarded a Distinction for their 3 minute prepared speeches and
their impromptu speeches on a topic of the adjudicators choice. |
